"I’ve worked with many athletic trainers over the years and Ryan Lauderdale provides the most comprehensive and dynamic workouts I have ever experienced. As a competitive fencer, it is difficult to find trainer that takes the time to develop exercises tailored to relatively unknown sport. During the first workout, Ryan listened as I explained the physical demands of the sport and the areas I wished to improve. As a result, he was able to develop a training regiment that truly excelled my skills to the next level. After twelve sessions, I was faster, stronger, and able to sustain a high degree of intensity for longer periods of time. More importantly, unlike other trainers I have worked with, Ryan combined rehabilitation in his training programs.

Because fencing requires an unnatural position, many athletes develop hip problems and certain physical tendencies. For example, my right hip sat slightly higher and often turned out during physical activity. Ryan created challenging exercises that aligned my hips, preventing possible injury and improving my overall balance and speed. In addition, I often suffered from leg cramps during previous tournaments. During the tournament that followed our training sessions, I remained well conditioned throughout every bout. Training with Ryan not only improved my physical abilities as an athlete, but also offered an element of rehabilitation that helped me achieve noticeable physical gains extremely quickly. "From as long as I can remember, I've been the girl who was always struggling to lose 10 pounds. I've tried every fad diet, juice cleanse and diet pill ever invented but could never seem to make anything stick. Watching my weight yo-yo up and down has been so exhausting and frustrating.

In January, I decided it was time to get back on track and get ready for the summer. I had put on my usual 10 pounds over the holidays and was determined to lose it and keep it off this time. We also planned a 10 day vacation to the Virgin Islands in May! I began running on my lunch break and started taking classes at my gym but found it hard to stay consistent.

I look and feel better than ever and I have Ryan to thank for that. Now that I am at my goal weight, I'm continuing to train with Ryan 1-2 sessions a week in order to stay motivated.
